The Cheltenham and Gloucestershire quarter final match against Glamorgan at The County Ground on Wednesday is "Somerset's last chance to gain one-day recognition this season," Chief Executive Peter Anderson told me after seeing his side lose to Nottingham Outlaws.
"Our team did not play with confidence today, and the crowd at Taunton have seen another disappointing home defeat. Confidence is a mystery, and despite all of the training we can't get that extra bit of confidence that will help us to win games like today. A few wins however will rectify that situation."
With regard to Wednesday's big match his advice is to arrive early.
