What's that gulf people keep talking about - of the top few teams in women's cricket and the rest? Well, it might well exist, but England going at 78 for 5 and then 103 for 6 chasing 179 to win against Bangladesh is quite the opposite of gulf, isn't it? But then we found the gulf, with some "inconclusive" umpiring calls helping England along, as they knocked off the runs without losing any more wickets at the Women's World Cup. For the longest time, it was shaping up to be one of the tournament's thrillers...
