Nepal indebted to Man of the Match Aarif Sheikh (87 off 111) for rescuing them from 9 for 3, played with terrific composure. Kuwait didn't help themselves with seven dropped catches, including Aarif early on and a spate of extras. Some late-order smashes took Nepal over 300 and in reply Kuwait's batsmen displayed little tactical awareness. "It's a mental game," say the professionals, Nepal won on that count too.
