9.11 pm So the Phoenix take two points, but as long as there is a result in tomorrow's match between Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals, the winner of that match will finish ahead of Birmingham Phoenix to face London Spirit in the playoff Eliminator. In the unlikely event of a tie tomorrow, the Phoenix will go to the Eliminator to rematch London Spirit. Trent Rockets have clinched an automatic berth in the final based on today's result.

Match Hero is Matthew Wade: "It was an interesting game. Obviously we were going out to chase the score in the 73 balls we needed. It didn't go that way but we reeled it back to just go for the win. We bowled really really well. Obviously Ravi Bopara came in and played his shots at the sort boundary. When we lost early wickets in the chase, it got harder to get there in 73 balls so we changed the plan to still go for the win and hope for rain or a tie tomorrow."

That's it for our live coverage tonight. Come back tomorrow for a twin doubleheader including the big one in the latter half of the day between Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals to decide the final playoff berth. On behalf of Alan Gardner, I'm Peter Della Penna. Take care!

Wheal to T Sangha, 1 wide

Wide and a missed runout! Good length ball way way down leg. The keeper collects and flicks it back to Wheal with Helm having set off before delivery going for a run on whatever the ball was. He has to scamper back when Sangha doesn't leave the striker's end. Wheal gets the relay but then fumbles the flick at the stumps from point blank range.

Two to win off the final ball. No Super Over in the league stage.
