1b to OG Robinson, big inswinger, hit on the front pad - given! Perfect start for Originals, although Robinson reviews. Looked pretty salmon on the first glance but was it perhaps doing too much? Only has to be clipping... and it's bashing leg stump pretty firmly, so off Robinson pops. Headingley silenced with the first ball of the game. 0/1 93b to HC Brook, back of a length, another cutter, Brook tries to muscle it... scooped up at mid-off! Did it carry to Currie? The crowd don't think so as the replay appears on the big screen, and Neil Bainton has a decision to make here. In fact, with the soft signal of out, he says he hasn't got conclusive evidence to overturn the on-field call. Not my call, guv! So Brook has to go. 149/5 | ||||||||||

24b to N Pooran, skied straight up, Walter juggles and holds on! Tall Paul produces the big moment for Originals. Possibly a slower ball, Pooran was looking to batter this into Leeds City Centre but completely miscues it. There was a nervy moment as Walter settled but the ball popped out of his hands, only for it to sit up nicely for a second attempt. 24/2 | ||||||||||

53b to G Clark, chipped down the ground... picks out long-off! Important breakthrough for Originals, whose spinners have had to bowl through this spell with a wet ball. Mir gets on the board as Clark is lured into a big shot that doesn't have enough to clear Currie on the rope. 74/3 82b to AJ Hose, slog-swept, but held in the deep! Sweet connection from Hose but he is undone by a super bit of work at deep square leg by Max Holden, who dives forward and gets both hands under the ball.
