Pooran has been striking form just at the right time as the tournament enters the business end. He has 234 runs from nine matches and is among the top five run-getters. On current form, Pooran is our captain. It would be interesting to see if he can get one more big score before the playoffs.

Rashid has 10 wickets in the tournament so far and took 1 for 21 against the Warriors when they met last time. He has conceded 6.68 runs per over and has contributed with the bat. His experience is vital if Tridents have to win.

Mitchell Santner :

Santner has done well with both bat and ball in this tournament in the chances he has had. He scored 36 runs from 27 balls against the Warriors the last time they met and conceded 20 runs from his 3.4 overs. Santner has only five wickets to his name in the CPL so far but has conceded less than 6 runs per over.

Naveen-ul-Haq :

Naveen was the star when these two teams met previously. He was the man of the match, taking 4 for 14. His variations have been hard for most batsmen to pick. He has 11 wickets in the tournament so far and has conceded runs at just 6.46 per over

Kyle Mayers :

With 215 runs, Mayers is the batting mainstay of the Tridents. Although he hasn't scored at blistering pace, he does not give his wicket away easily. If Tridents have to get past the in-form Guyana Amazon Warriors, then Mayers has to score.
