Arnold recalled to lead Sri Lanka A

Russel Arnold has been recalled as captain to lead Sri Lanka A for the Asian Cricket Council one-day triangular tournament at Kolkatta from December 22 to 30.

Russel Arnold has been recalled as captain to lead Sri Lanka A for the Asian Cricket Council one-day triangular tournament at Kolkatta from December 22 to 30.
Arnold led Sri Lanka A to a 5-0 one-day victory over Kenya on their recent tour of Africa in October, but was left out of the recently concluded tour of India, where the team drew the three-match unofficial Test series 1-1. Naveed Nawaz, who led Sri Lanka A in Arnold's absence, was named as his deputy.
Arnold will lead a strong 15-man team which also comprises of international players such as Nuwan Zoysa, Chamara Silva, Nuwan Kulasekara, as well as the outstanding schoolboy cricketer Farveez Maharoof.
Hosts India and Pakistan are the other two participating countries in the 10-day tournament.
