Sir Vivian Richards looking spry and vigorous after a 27 hour flight from Calcutta returned to Toronto this afternoon.

Sir Vivian was greeted by Anne-Marie Russell, President of the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Toronto and several members of the local Gujarati community, who were very instrumental in helping to ensure Sir Vivian's successful journey, after several nightmarish setbacks.

Sir Vivian is here for the local Independence celebrations, with a Ball on Saturday night and a Youth Mentorship programme the highlights of their weekend. He will also appear on breakfast television and in a press conference on Friday morning.

It is also hoped that he will be able to assist local World Cup bound cricketers in a number of one on one meetings. Keep tuned for any further updated information.
