Dharmadasa Appointed as New President of ACC

Sri Lanka Cricket has great pleasure in announcing that at the Annual General Meeting of The Asian Cricket Council held on 18th June 2006, Chairman Sri Lanka Cricket Mr. Jayantha Dharmadasa was appointed as the President of the Asian Cricket Council for 2 years from June 2006.

"I am very delighted that Sri Lanka is getting this position. During the length of my term I will be working directly with all offices to ensure that the ideals, which we have so closely followed, are maintained and spread all across Asia", said Mr. Dharmadasa, upon his appointment.
