The ICC will discuss the BCCI's request to release its 2003 World Cup divident of US$ 6.5 million during a meeting of their executive board in West Indies later this week.
India - as well as England and New Zealand - had money withheld following claims for compensation by the Global Cricket Corporation (GCC) after the tournament. These claims will be part of the agenda during the meeting in Barbados.
The recognition of player associations, the format of the 2007 World Cup in the Caribbean and a protocol for international tour cancellations are other issues that will receive the Board's attention on October 29 and 30, an ICC press release said.
