Napier - Captain Brian Lara appealed to cricket fans in the
Caribbean to be patient after the West Indies lost the third One
Day International - and the five-match series - against New
Zealand yesterday.
'People in the Caribbean have a right to be angry, but they are
going to have to be patient because rebuilding West Indian cricket
is going to take time,' he said.
'We've been trying to do all the right things here.
'We knew it was going to be tough, but the guys in the team have
got to believe in themselves and work as individuals on their
confidence.'
