National Academy squad for Sri Lanka tour

A 14-man squad for the ECB National Academy tour to Malaysia and Sri Lanka was named today.

The National Academy will play a single one-day match against Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur before undertaking a four and a half week tour of Sri Lanka, where they will play seven matches against Sri Lanka 'A', a Sri Lankan Academy XI and Sri Lanka U19 (itinerary below).

The squad includes Ian Bell, who has recovered from a stress fracture in the lumbar spine, as well as Richard Dawson and Robert Key, who were members of the England Test team touring Australia recently.
