New Zealand: Central Districts fall short
The Christchurch Press
A 175-run partnership for the third wicket between Mathew Sinclair and
Craig Spearman was not sufficient to carry Central Districts through
to a first innings win over New Zealand Academy in the two-day cricket
match at Lincoln Green. Central was all out for 341 yesterday in reply
to the Academy's 374. Sinclair and Spearman needed only 116min and 191
balls for their big stand, but Ryan Burson (four for 56) and Regan
West (three for 85) were largely responsible for Central falling 33
runs short of the Academy total.
