Owen Mattau becomes coach of Under 19 side

Mr Lalith Kaluperuma, who had been selected as replacement for Mr D.S. De Silva, has decided not to accept the position of Under 19 coach due to time constraints and business commitments. His decision prompted an emergency Executive Committee meeting in which Mr Anuruddha Polonnowita and Mr Owen Mattau were appointed as the manager and coach for tour.

At the same meeting the Executive Committee decided to appoint former test cricketer Mr Asley De Silva, as manager for the Under 17 tour to Pakistan from 15th to 30th July. Mr Sunil Fernando will be the coach.
