Lahore, Aug 13: Pakistan Under-15 cricket team returned here today
from England after participating in the World Challenge 2000.
MrsGen Tauqir Zia, the Pakistan Cricket Board ad hoc committee
chairman, with other board's officials received the 17- member squad
at the Lahore Airport. She also awarded cash prizes of Rs 10,000 to
each member of the team.
The squad later departed for Mangla where the PCB chairman will hold a
reception in the honours of the team.
Pakistan also gained second position in the first Asia Cup for
Under-15 which was held in Malaysia last month when India beat
Pakistan in the final.
The other PCB officials who received the team at the airport were
director operation Yawar Saeed and Col. Pervez.

Adnan Raza, Shahid Yousaf, Zulqarnain, Fahad Iqbal, Azhar Ali, Talal
