Karachi, Aug 7: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials are fuming over team coach Javed Miandad's bill of Rs 7.2 million.
According to information, Miandad is charging his fee as team coach between April and July. The PCB paid former coach Intikhab Alam Rs 550,000 for his services for two months before releasing him during the mid-series in March.
Sources added that Miandad's claim was not only almost 12 times more than the payment made to Intikhab Alam, the senior most player of the team was paid Rs 1.6 million for a four-month tour.
Sources added that Miandad's claim was one of the items on the agenda of Aug 15 emergency meeting scheduled to be held in Lahore.
Miandad, by virtue of his status as member of the advisory panel, will also attend the moot.
