Press Conference on The Ispahani Mirzapore 3rd National Cricket League

A press conference was held on the conference room of BCB today at 3.00 p.m. BCB officials, related persons with National league 2001-2002, representatives from sponsor Ispahani Mirzapore Tea and reporters from newspapers were present there. Mr. Shafiqul Hoque Hira, former captain of Bangladesh national cricket team, and Mr. Ehteshamul Alam, secretary of tournament committee, introduced the sponsors and the persons related with national league 2001-2002. In answer to various questions of the reporters the secretary of tournament committee told that only 6 divisional teams are going to participate in this league. They also disclosed about prize money, total expenditure for the league etc. Total budget for this national League is Tk. 1,21,18,000/=. There is a change from the previous leagues and that is the matches will be 4 day & one day, not 3 day & one day.
