R & R a welcome respite from Cup duties

Tuesday 12 December

We were into the pool this morning for some recovery work before enjoying a rest day. Some of the players headed in town, out to the beach, out for lunch or home for a few hours R &R. I called into work briefly to check the status of my in-tray and then headed home to touch base with the cat - "Colin".

After a restful afternoon I headed into town to meet Bill, Paula, Em T and Clare, for dinner at a happening wee restaurant in town called "Sticky Fingers". Dinner was excellent - pasta with smoked chicken, mushrooms, spring onions and loads of parmesan cheese.

After a quick latte we were on our way back to Lincoln to settle in for the evening. Not a lot to report today but tomorrow will pick up again as we build towards Thursday's match against the English team.
