Overnight rain in the sister cities played spoilsport as two Grade I
matches of the national Under- 19 cricket championship saw play
starting late in the day.
At the KRL Ground, only 13 overs were possible in the threeday match
between Rawalpindi and LCCA Blues in which the home team scored 18
runs without loss.
Islamabad on the other hand had lost the prize wicket of their captain
Raheel Majeed in their game against Karachi Blues at the Shalimar
Ground.
Raheel went for 10 in Islamabad's total of 47 off 15 overs, after the
hosts had been asked to bat first.
