Sixes organisers China Cricket International has appointed event managers
Laxton Marketing to manage the logistics of the 2009 Hong Kong Cricket
Sixes, to take place at Kowloon Cricket Club over the weekend of October
31st and November 1st.
After a hugely successful 2008 event which culminated in England
triumphing over Australia in an epic final, Sixes organisers, keen to grow
the profile of the tournament, has appointed Laxton Marketing as event
managers for the 2009 event.
Laxton Marketing has been appointed on the grounds of their extensive
experience and success in running high profile and international sports
tournaments, including the Hong Kong Tens and the International Soccer
Sevens.
"We are excited about working with Laxton Marketing for the first time
and, helped by their fresh approach and ideas, are looking forward to
staging another magnificent Sixes for Hong Kong's cricket fans," said
