CCC bowled out for 100 runs

Anil Rideegammanagedera (4 for 7) and S. Jayaratne (3 for 14) bowled out CCC for 100 and helped NCC achieve a comfortable nine-wicket win in their division I inter-club limited-over cricket match played at Maitland Place yesterday.

CCC 100 in 36 overs (D. Arnolda 35, A. Dalugoda 34 n.o., A. Rideegammanagedera 4 for 7, S. Jayaratne 3 for 14).

An excellent all-round effort from Dhammika Rajapakse (84 runs and 5 wickets for 18) saw BRC crush newcomers Matara SC by 116 runs in their division I inter-club limited overs match played at Havelock Park yesterday.

BRC 194 in 45.1 overs (S. Kumara 11, S. Tennekoon 49, D. Rajapakse 84, A. Lankatilleke 3 for 43, N.R.C.K. Guruge 3 for 33).

Matara SC 78 in 27.2 overs (P. Siriwardena 36, S. Kulatunga 15, N.R.C.K. Guruge 11, D. Rajapakse 5 for 18, C. Jayasinghe 2 for 10) - [S.T.] Air Force by 95 runs

Air Force pulled off a 95-run win over Lankan CC in their division I inter-club limited-over match played at Katunayake yesterday.

Air Force 216 for 8 in 46 overs (S. Lugoda 51, S. Gallage 28, S. Amarasiri 25, A. Kumara 34 n.o., S. Perera 3 for 46, D. Hajja 2 for 35, A. Chandimal 2 for 39).

Tea Board in 20-run victory

A superb spell of 6 for 36 off seven overs including a hat-trick by Gamini Mallikarachchi guided Sri Lanka Tea Board to a 20-run win over University of Kelaniya in a Group A match of the Nationalised Services `E' Division limited over tournament match at University grounds.

In reply to Tea Board's 171 all out, Kelaniya University team was shot out for 151.
