A R30 million development to SuperSport Park at Centurion has been unveiled by the Titans. It includes a new gym, squash courts, an indoor running track and swimming pools.
A state-of-the-art grandstand, which will increase the ground capacity by around 1500 seats, will be constructed at the Southern end of the ground in the near future, and the floodlights will also be upgraded. But, in an effort to retain the old charm of the ground, the grassy embankments of the stadium will remain untouched.
"This wonderful development ensures that Titans Cricket Ltd is able to pursue its goal to generate income from sources other than solely cricket," said Brandon Foot, the chairman of Titans' management committee, "and will create a legacy for future generations."
Centurion will host the final Test between South Africa and England which starts on Friday.
