WI selectors to name Australia squad today

The West Indies cricket selectors are expected to announce the team for the five-Test tour of Australia today.

Chairman of selectors Mike Findlay's announcement of the team, to be led by Jimmy Adams, is scheduled for around midday.

Veteran fast bowler Courtney Walsh, the leading wicket-taker in Tests, indicated he would be part of the squad, but there was still some speculation over whether the selectors would include Guyanese allrounder Carl Hooper.

The tour starts November 7, with the first Test in Brisbane starting November 23.
