Cricket News: Jones takes Cork to task

DOMINIC CORK, rejected by England for this winter`s tours, has been told by Dean Jones, his former Derbyshire captain, to knuckle down or risk becoming an international alsoran.

Jones, now back home, said: "If he wants to get back with the big boys he has to change his attitude with regard to training and preparation.

"He also has a problem with his bowling

technique - he gets too front on - and that`s why he keeps breaking down."

Robin Smith, Hampshire`s England batsman, has had an operation to reset a broken bone in his left hand.
