Yawar Saeed named for ICC post

Yawar Saeed, who relinquishes the job of director PCB on Monday, has been nominated for the post of chief executive of the ICC by his parent organization, officials said.

The post will be up for grab as the current incumbent David Richards of Australia steps down next year after serving the game's governing body for nearly seven years.

"We will campaign and lobby for him," the official said.

He said the candidates for the job will be interviewed by a ICC panel.

Brig Munawwar Rana takes over from Yawar Saeed as PCB director from Monday next.
