South Africa 210 for 3 (Hendricks 117, van der Dussen 66*, Jahandad 2-40) beat Pakistan 206 for 5 (Ayub 98*, Azam 31, Irfan 30, Galiem 2-21) by five wickets
Reeza Hendricks scored his first T20I century, in his tenth year of being an international cricketer, as South Africa won their first bilateral T20I series win since August 2022. They registered the third-highest successful chase at SuperSport Park to break a T20I trophy drought that has extended for eight series, since they beat Ireland more than two years ago. It is also Rob Walter's first T20I series win since taking over the white-ball coaching job in March 2023.
After being asked to field first, South Africa conceded the fifth-highest first-innings total at SuperSport Park and chased it down with three balls to spare. Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen, batting at No.4, shared a third-wicket partnership of 157 off 83 balls to form the spine of the chase. Van der Dussen scored his seventh T20I fifty and hit the winning runs with stand-in captain Heinrich Klaasen at the other end.

Rahane's 98 helps Mumbai storm into Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final

Mumbai 164 for 4 (Rahane 98, Shreyas 46, Rawat 1-6) beat Baroda 158 for 7 (Shivalik 36*, Rawat 33, Shedge 2-11) by six wickets
Each time Ajinkya Rahane deposited the ball into the stands - it happened five times on Friday - the sparse crowd, spread beyond the deep-square leg boundary from the BEML End at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, yelled their throats out. Yet, on none of the five occasions was their cheer and appreciation more pleasing to hear than the pinging of the ball off Rahane's bat barely three seconds earlier. That sound, after all, seemed to echo at an otherwise quiet ground.
With one run to win and Rahane on 98, he looked to hoick over square leg from the Pavilion End. But he got a top edge for the Baroda wicketkeeper to snaffle. However, Rahane's knock helped Mumbai wrap up the first semi-final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with a cakewalk of a chase of 159. As a result, they avenged defeat from last season, when Baroda had knocked them out in the quarter-final.

Delhi 193 for 3 (Rawat 73*, Arya 44, Dhull 42) beat Uttar Pradesh 174 (Garg 54, Prince 3-36, Suyash 2-36) by 19 runs
Perhaps the only thing that could have stopped Anuj Rawat's assault was the end of Delhi's allotted overs. No matter which Uttar Pradesh bowler bowled at him in the death overs of the quarter-final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in Bengaluru, the ball either went to the boundary or pinged the objects that lay beyond it.
Rawat rammed an unbeaten 73 off just 33 balls despite being on 9 from 10 at one stage. Six of his seven boundaries, and all five of his sixes, came from the 15th onwards. Delhi, who had 112 at the start of the 15th, finished with 193, before their bowlers restricted UP to 174 to book their place in the semi-final.

England 153 for 4 (Beaumont 65*, Jones 49*) beat South Africa 233 for 8 (Wolvaardt 61) by six wickets - DLS

On a day that was interrupted by a three-hour delay for rain and lightning, and was marred by a worrying first-over back injury for their senior seamer Kate Cross, England overcame a stiff DLS-adjusted target of 152 in 23 overs to win at a canter - with four overs to spare, thanks to Beaumont's fifth-wicket stand of 90 in 63 balls with Amy Jones, who finished unbeaten on 49 from 36.
