Warwickshire made it two wins out of two in the Metrobank One Day Cup with an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Leicestershire at the UptonSteel County Ground, Grace Road.
Bears' skipper Ed Barnard, who made a big century and took two wickets in his side's first game against Essex at Chelmsford, continued his outstanding form in the competition by taking four quick wickets, including that of India Test star Ajinkya Rahane, after putting the Foxes in to bat, reducing the home side to 40 for 4.

Welsh Fire strolled to victory against Manchester Originals in record time in the Hundred, inspired by their trio of left-arm pace bowlers who derailed the home team's batting effort before it ever got going.
David Willey, David Payne and Josh Little took 6 for 46 between them from their 60 balls, reducing the Originals, without injured captain Jos Buttler, to 4 for 3, then 26 for 5 and 37 for 7.

Will Luxton's 79-ball 83, George Hill's 51 off 38 balls and four dramatic late sixes by Matt Revis propelled Yorkshire Vikings to 240 for six from 33 overs and an eventual 25-run win against Surrey in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup at the Kia Oval.
Luxton, 21 and making just his 15th List A appearance, hit 12 fours and played the innings of a rain-shortened Group B match, while 23-year-old Hill also took three for 41 with his medium pace as he and Revis, 22, added wickets to their earlier run-scoring exploits. Surrey, set 248 from their 33 overs after Duckworth Lewis Stern calculations, were restricted to 222 for nine in reply.

Sophia Dunkley guided Welsh Fire to victory over Manchester Originals at Emirates Old Trafford in the Hundred, navigating a mid-innings wobble to see her side over the line with four balls to spare.
Dunkley's 69 from just 47 balls formed the backbone of her side's response to the home side's total of 113 for 7, and it required some late acceleration from her to get the job done after Manchester Originals' spin duo of Sophie Ecclestone and Fi Morris had stemmed the scoring rate and pegged Welsh Fire back.

Leicestershire Foxes began their defence of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup with a victory over Group B rivals Notts Outlaws, albeit one achieved in unexpected fashion after India Test star Ajinkya Rahane had excited his latest home crowd with a debut innings of 71 - the match coming down to the visitors trying in vain to score 55 runs from 23 balls.
The Foxes had been set to defend 370 after an impressive showing with the bat in which captain Lewis Hill top scored with 81, a pivotal knock that saw him share partnerships of 79 with Sol Budinger, who made 75, and 82 with Rahane as Leicestershire totalled 369 for 6 from their 50 overs, having been put in on a green-tinged pitch, their score bolstered by some big hitting from Ben Cox and Ben Mike at the death.

Zak Chappell smashed a List A career-best unbeaten 94 to propel Derbyshire to an unlikely eight-wicket victory over Northamptonshire in their Metro Bank One-Day Cup clash at Wantage Road.
Chappell came together with his skipper Ross Whiteley with Derbyshire in tatters at 79 for seven chasing 236 to win, but they turned the game on its head with a record eighth-wicket partnership of 131 (23.4 overs) for the visitors against any opposition.

Captain Alex Lees starred with a superb 111 added to impressive all-round contributions from Dutch internationals Bas de Leede and Colin Ackermann as Durham claimed an opening day Metro Bank One-Day Cup win over Lancashire at Sedbergh School.
Opener Lees cleanly struck eight fours and a six in a 126-ball innings which underpinned 344 for four - Durham's sixth highest List A total. De Leede contributed 72 off 63 and Ackermann 59 off 33.
