India 81 for 3 (Jaiswal 30, Suryakumar 26, Theekshana 1-16) beat Sri Lanka 161 for 9 (Kusal Perera 53, Nissanka 32, Bishnoi 3-26) by seven wickets via DLS method
In Dambulla, Chamari Athapaththu and Harshitha Samarawickrama had countered India's spinners to lead Sri Lanka to the Women's Asia Cup title. About 100 kilometres away in Pallakele later in the evening, it was India's spinners who dominated Sri Lanka in the second men's T20I. Ravi Bishnoi, Axar Patel and Riyan Parag returned combined figures of 12-0-86-5 to trigger another Sri Lanka collapse and help India sew up the three-T20I series, with one game to go.
Across the first two T20Is, Sri Lanka have lost 16 for 68 in the last six overs. There was so much purchase for spinners that part-time spinner Parag bowled his full allotment of overs and Axar bowled the last over of the first innings in which Sri Lanka could manage only 161 for 9.

Andy McBrine and Lorcan Tucker hit fifties to thwart Zimbabwe in Belfast

The day started with Zimbabwe on top, but some sensible, and aggressive, batting from Tucker and McBrine made it easy for Ireland in the end

Ireland 250 (Moor 79, Chivanga 3-39, Muzarabani 3-53) and 158 for 6 (Tucker 56, McBrine 55*, Ngarava 4-53, Muzarabani 2-52) beat Zimbabwe 210 (Masvaure 74, McBrine 3-37, McCarthy 3-42) and 197 (Myers 57, McBrine 4-38) by four wickets
It didn't quite reach the climax the third evening had promised, but the one-off Ireland vs Zimbabwe Test had most results possible for the best part of the morning session on the fourth day till Ireland killed off the contest. Ireland had been reduced to 21 for 5 after a fiery spell from Richard Ngarava on the third evening, which had left the small band of Zimbabwe supporters in Belfast delirious. But Lorcan Tucker's second Test fifty and Andy McBrine's third ensured Ireland silenced them quickly - and took away the match - with a 96-run stand on the fourth morning.
That paved the way for Ireland's first home Test win, and also gave them back-to-back victories in the format, after they had beaten Afghanistan for their Test first win this March.

England 376 (Smith 95, Root 87, Woakes 62, Stokes 54, A Joseph 4-122, Seales 3-79) and 87 for 0 (Stokes 57*, Duckett 25*) beat West Indies 282 (Brathwaite 61, Holder 59, Atkinson 4-67, Woakes 3-69) and 175 (Louis 57, Hodge 55, Wood 5-40) by ten wickets
Mark Wood's breathtaking post-lunch spell netted him a five-wicket haul and put England on the brink of another comprehensive victory over West Indies, which they sealed inside three days at Edgbaston.
Whereas his relentless rockets at Trent Bridge had jaws on the floor but yielded just two wickets for the match, his mastery of a reverse-swinging ball in the hour after lunch accounted for all five remaining West Indies wickets for 19 runs in the space of 39 balls. Wood ended with 5 for 40 from 14 overs, his fifth five-wicket haul in Tests, to add to his 2 for 52 from West Indies' first innings.

Sri Lanka 167 for 2 (Samarawickrama 69*, Athapaththu 61, Dilhari 30*) beat India 165 for 6 (Mandhana 60, Ghosh 30, Dilhari 2-36) by eight wickets
Sri Lanka created history on Sunday, dethroning India to clinch their maiden Women's T20 Asia Cup. Fighting half-centuries from top order batters Chamari Athapaththu and Harshitha Samarawickrama, and Kavisha Dilhari's all-round heroics stood out as Sri Lanka cruised to an eight-wicket victory in front of a packed crowd in Dambulla.
Samarawickrama and Dilhari's valuable contributions in the final once again highlighted a crucial point that Sri Lanka are not just dependent on their captain to deliver. They have now won 14 of the 17 T20Is this year and go into the T20 World Cup slated in October with massive confidence and pride from their performances.

Birmingham Phoenix 131 for 7 (Bethell 43, Stone 2-14) beat London Spirit 127 for 7 (Russell 37*, Abbott 4-14) by three wickets
Sean Abbott produced a memorable performance with the ball to inspire Birmingham Phoenix to a three-wicket victory over London Spirit in a low-scoring thriller at Lord's.
Abbott claimed 4 for 14 from his 20 deliveries - the 10th-best figures in the history of the men's Hundred - as Phoenix restricted their hosts to 127 for 7, and the Australian allrounder was there at the finish as his side snuck home with a ball to spare.

Suryakumar leads from the front as India go 1-0 up

Sri Lanka were 140 for 1 in a chase of 214 but then lost nine wickets for 30 runs

India 213 for 7 (Suryakumar 58, Pant 49, Jaiswal 40, Pathirana 4-40) beat Sri Lanka 170 (Nissanka 79, Mendis 45, Parag 3-5, Arshdeep 2-24, Axar 2-38) by 43 runs
India's new T20I era under Suryakumar Yadav began on a winning note, even if it was jittery at various points in their defence of a big score. A spirited Sri Lankan batting unit, spearheaded by Pathum Nissanka and his free-stroking 79 left an Indian team playing with just five bowling options hanging onto crumbs of hope. One of them was scoreboard pressure. Sri Lanka had nine wickets in hand but they still needed 74 off 36.
Nissanka, reprieved a ball earlier by Ravi Bishnoi at deep midwicket, fell to Axar Patel to open the floodgates. India converted that opening into a double-strike when Kusal Perera fell four balls later. It would be the start of a sensational meltdown; Sri Lanka losing 9 for 30 in all to concede a game they would've backed themselves to win.
