19.2 to T Chanderpaul, Edged, and this time it's gone to the fielder! Back of length delivery seams away after pitching on a fourth stump line. Chanderpaul was looking to defend and is squared up. The ball goes off the shoulder of the bat to second slip and Steven Smith gobbles it up. 54/3 21.4 to A Athanaze, Test wicket No. 350 for Mitchell Starc! He was wicketless in his first spell, but has struck in back-to-back overs here. This is full and wide, draws Athanaze into the drive, but he only manages a thick outside edge. Carey makes no mistake to hand Starc the milestone wicket. 57/4 25.2 to JP Greaves, Starc does have his third! Another outside edge and this time Khawaja takes it low. The umpire has sent it up for a check, though. This was a length all on off that was leaving Greaves. He had his bat up as he looked to defend, but it went off the edge. Goes low to Khawaja, but that went to his hands and Greaves has to go. Starc stamps Australia's authority on the session. 64/5 84.2 to KAR Hodge, Starc gets the big wicket of Kavem Hodge! This is pitched up on middle and going on with the angle. Hodge was playing for the inward movement and looking to work it leg side. He ends up getting an outside edge that carries to Steven Smith at second slip and he makes no mistake there. Hodge walks off to loud applause. 225/7 | ||||||||||

Lovely delivery though. 133kph, fuller length, angled into a fourth stump line, tempting the drive, he drives half-committed, hint of shape away and it catches the edge. Easy catch for Carey. 9/1 89.4 to AS Joseph, Hazlewood ends Joseph's cameo! Edged to second slip! Length ball around off and Joseph was looking to defend. 77.1 to J Da Silva, Has Lyon got the big breakthrough here? The umpire thinks so! Bowls a length ball on middle and leg and Da Silva misses his flick as he plays back to it. He is hit above the knee roll on the back foot. Da Silva reviews it. But that's hitting top of off. Three reds. So West Indies lose the resolute Da Silva and a review, and Lyon finally gets a reward. 213/6 107.6 to K Sinclair, And Lyon strikes back! Tosses it up wide again. Sinclair moved leg side and forward to try and work it on the off side but loses his balance. Smith had moved across but missed his flick and is hit on the back pad. Impact in front of off and that's crashing into the stumps. Roach has Smith in the first over! That was a very good ball, seaming in sharply. Smith had moved across too much. And with no inside edge, that was always going to be out!. 6/1 4.5 to C Green, That's straight to mid-off! Green can't believe it! It's full outside off and Green again gets forward and pushes at it, but this time it's in the air and straight to Brathwaite! No power there, just gently gave him some catching practice. Brathwaite is rightly pumped!. 24/3 4.6 to TM Head, Head is gone first ball! It's all happening at the Gabba! Strangled down leg! Head is walking. It's full and going down leg and Head looks to tickle it fine but doesn't get enough bat on it. Great take by Joshua Da Silva and Australia are in a mess! 1.5 to M Labuschagne, What a screamer by Kevin Sinclair! Joseph gets Labuschagne. Smith and Labuschagne gone in the first two overs. This is a length ball outside off and Labuschagne just pokes at it. Goes off the shoulder of the blade and Sinclair dives to his right from fourth slip and grabs it well. Oh my my!. 11/2 11.2 to MR Marsh, spooned to mid-on! Follow up 140kph back of a length ball, Marsh tries to pull but is hurried for pace, he spoons it off the sticker of the bat it floated to the safe hands of Roach at mid-on. That was on to him so much quicker than he expected. 54/5 30.1 to MA Starc, Got him! Starc has nicked off! Length ball on off, just going away. Starc with a nothing poke gets an outside edge and Joshua Da Silva does the rest. And West Indies will go to tea a happy team. 161/7 52.6 to NM Lyon, Lyon looks to pull and gets a thin edge. Flighted full outside off, lures the drive, this one spins though and catches the edge, Athanaze takes the catch nicely at slip. Drive is exactly what Da Silva wants to do and he gets a thick edge that flies to Cam Green at gully who is quick to get his hands up above his head. He doesn't grab it at first go, despite his fast reaction, and only manages to parry it up in the air, but he makes no mistake at his second go. 157/6 | ||||||||||

7.3 to T Chanderpaul, Oh beauty! They go up in appeal but the umpire isn't interested. Australia review! That was pitched up fuller outside off and straightened after pitching. Australia think there was an edge. Did it kiss the outside edge as Chanderpaul pressed forward to defend? There is a small spike on UltraEdge. Hazlewood strikes in the last over of the day to give Australia some reward for the early declaration. It's a feather of a touch but enough to give Hazlewood a wicket. 13/1 62.4 to JP Greaves, caught behind! Just! Carey fumbled a sitter but he held on. Good length, fifth stump line, Greaves pushes at it on the front foot, some extra bounce catches a thin edge, it flies through to Carey and hurries onto him, it went through the gloves initially, bobbled off his chest, he parried the rebound and up and then caught it falling to the ground. Nearly made a meal of it. 184/7 64.2 to AS Joseph, brilliant grab from Smith at second slip! Full stretch above his head to pluck it! Fuller length outside off, Alzarri Joseph thrashes a full blooded drive, the nick flies fast and high above Smith and he jumps and stretches at full extension to take the catch. This was tossed up on off and hit McKenzie on the back leg as he knelt to sweep. And ball-tracking shows that to be clipping the off bail, so it's umpire's call and McKenzie falls nine runs short of a second Test fifty. Lyon has struck with his second ball!. 86/3 41.2 to A Athanaze, Lyon strikes! Caught at slip. Flighted high outside off, enticing the drive, some spin as well, he drives hard and nicks it to slip, Smith clings on this time. Lyon has been very good in this innings. Lovely bit of baiting outside off there. Textbook offspin bowling. 123/4 69.1 to KAJ Roach, given lbw! Roach reviews straight away. He played back to one that spins sharply from outside off and hits the pad in front of middle. He's on the crease. Did it spin too far? No. It was clipping the outside of leg. Umpire's call on hitting and he stays out. It looked plumb live. Nitin Menon had no hesitation. It was hitting a decent chunk of leg but it was umpire's call.. 185/9 | ||||||||||

That's a soft dismissal after the openers did so well to be seeing off the new ball so far. But West Indies won't mind how they come!. 24/1 47.6 to NM Lyon, caught behind! Lyon walks! Short ball, outside off, it stays a touch low and nips in at chest high, Lyon swivels trying to pull, gets a thin under edge and Da Silva celebrates! The drop cost nothing! It come off high on the bat to Sinclair's right and he takes it low falling over. A little easier take than the one in the first innings. What a delivery. Wobble seam as well and some nip in. Ball tracking says it bounced 12cm more than the average length in this game. 113/3 30.6 to TM Head, King pair! 141kph yorker thunders into the base of off! What a yorker! Around the wicket, 141kph, missile at the base of off, Head couldn't get his bat down and West Indies are alive thanks to the wonderkid!. 113/4 34.3 to MR Marsh, Edged and taken! Shamar Joseph gets Mitch Marsh! That's a peach of a delivery. Dug in back of length on a fourth-stump line at 144kph, the ball straightens. Marsh has to play at that. He looks to defend and the extra bounce means it comes off high on the bat and straight to Athanaze at second slip who can't hold on. The ball pops out to third slip where Greaves holds on to complete the catch. 132/5 36.2 to AT Carey, Knocks him over! He nails the yorker again and Australia go six down! Alright, this wasn't quite on yorker length, but it was fired in full at 145kph. Goes off the pad and knocks the off stump back.. 136/6 40.5 to MA Starc, In the air again and this time, Starc is gone! Shamar Joseph has two five-wicket hauls in two Tests! What a spell this is. Coming back after that toe injury yesterday. And he gets his revenge on Starc as well. Starc again swings at a back of length delivery going across him. Comes off the toe end and goes high in the air and Sinclair has to just move a little to his left from backward point to grab it. Shamar Joseph kneels with his head on the ground in celebration. This match is very much alive!. 171/7 42.3 to PJ Cummins, Edged to the keeper and Shamar wheels away in celebration! Length ball outside off at 141.6kph kicks up and takes the outside edge. Goes wide of the keeper and Da Silva throws himself at it for a diving catch. Shamar Joseph is kicking up a storm here!. 175/8 50.5 to JR Hazlewood, West Indies win! Shamar Joseph flattens off stump! They charge off in celebration. Shamar Joseph takes seven! The West Indies huddle together. Brian Lara is nearly in tears in the commentary box!
