Barbados to Host South Africa 'A'

Barbados will have a four-day match against South Africa A during the tourists' nine-match cricket tour of the Caribbean from August 20 to September 26

Barbados will have a four-day match against South Africa A during the tourists' nine-match cricket tour of the Caribbean from August 20 to September 26. The visitors will oppose the Barbados team from August 22 to August 25 in the first match of their trip. They arrive on August 20.
At the same time the West Indies senior team will be on their five- Test tour of England.
Apart from the Barbados match, South Africa A will take on West Indies A in two four-day Tests in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago and three One-Dayers in Guyana at the end of the series.
They will also have two three-day encounters in St. Vincent and Trinidad and a limited-overs contest against Guyana.
The South African squad includes three players who have been seen in Barbados: captain Dale Benkenstein, Victor Mpitsang and Test opener Boeta Dippenaar.
Benkenstein played a brief time for Wanderers; Victor Mpitsang appeared in the Gordon Greenidge/Desmond Haynes testimonial match at Kensington Oval in 1998, and Dippenaar toured with provincial side Free State.
The squad: Dale Benkenstein (captain), Nic Pothas (vice-captain), Mark Bruyns, James Bryant, Boeta Dippenaar, Gerald Dros, Justin Kemp, Charl Langeveldt, Victor Mpitsang, Mfuneko Ngam, Justin Ontong, Robin Peterson, Dewald Pretorius, Ashwell Prince, Graeme Smith, Charl Willoughby.

August 22-25 v Barbados.
August 28-30 in St. Vincent.
September 2-5 1st Test v West Indies A, St. Vincent.
September 8-10 v Trinidad and Tobago.
Sept 13-16 2nd Test v WI A, Trinidad.
September 20 v Guyana.
September 23 1st One-Day, Guyana.
September 24 2nd One-Day, Guyana.
September 26 3rd One-Day, Guyana.
