England's Twenty20 International against Pakistan at Bristol, on August 28, is already a sell out. Gloucestershire announced that all 15,000 tickets have now gone after the last few sold out this week.
The main match starts at 3pm and will be preceded by a game between Gloucestershire and a PCA Masters XI in the morning. Ticket sales have been boosted by England's recent tour of India and Jane Lobb, the executive assistant, hopes the ticket rush will rub off onto the domestic matches at Bristol.
"The ticket office was thriving with the sales for the International Twenty20. We are really hoping that the atmosphere will be just as exciting in the ticket office during the season with all of our domestic ticket sales, in particular Twenty20 Cup. We understand many supporters may have been disappointed to miss out on the International Twenty20 and urge them to try the action-packed domestic Twenty20 matches."
