As the protests over George Floyd's death spilled out across the world, cricket had its own reckoning with racism and discrimination. Daren Sammy demanded answers from his IPL team-mates, Michael Carberry said cricket was rife with racism, and the ECB committed to bringing in more inclusive change to English cricket. Meanwhile, the West Indies team landed in England to begin training for the first bit of cricket to be played post-pandemic, even while other countries grapple with Covid-19 - Pakistan's Shahid Afridi just announced that he had tested positive.
