Lancashire Sixes: Final is all washed out

Friday, August 13, proved unlucky for Attock and the Griffin's Head,
the finalists in the Hyndburn Mayoral Challenge Six-a-side preliminary
competition at Accrington CC. A heavy downpour at 6pm left the ground
saturated.
After a brief inspection at 6.30pm the umpires decided that play would
not be possible. The match has been provisionally rescheduled for
Friday, August 27.
The winners will receive a trophy and also entry into the main
competition which will be held during Family Fun Day at Accrington CC
on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30.
