Alan Mullally returns to The Parks where he played his only previous match for the county some 12 years ago in 1988.
Dimitri Mascarenhas is ruled out with an ankle injury, his place has been taken by Lee Savident who plays his first match for the First XI for 2 years.
Shane Warne does not arrive in UK until the 18th April, and is hoping to make his Hampshire debut in the Benson and Hedges match at Chelmsford the following day.
