Pakistan banks on experience and public support

Pakistan Manger Mohsin Khan speaking to CricInfo said "I am quite confident that Pakistan would do very well in the Under 19 World Cup. We have a good batting side, backed up by some good bowlers".

The side has two test players in Hasan Raza and Aamir Nazir. Mohsin Khan is no stranger to Sri Lanka, having made two tours to the island after Sri Lanka were made a test playing nation.

Mohsin Khan said that he found the wickets in Sri Lanka to be slow. "We have had two practice games and the lads have done well on the wickets. A lot is expected from the young test player Hasan Raza. He has the experience and know how, having played with the national team. We need the support of the Pakistan Cricketing public, who I am sure will back us to win the World Cup", concluded Khan.
