NAGPUR, March 20: SRI LANKA cricketers flew into Nagpur this morning
after their defeat to Pakistan by 9 runs in the Tri-nation's
tournament on Friday.
The Lankans will have a training session tomorrow (Sunday) before
deciding on the team for the second game in the tournament against
India here on Monday. In the second round Sri Lanka will play
Pakistan at Vishakapatnam on March 27 and meet India on March 30 in
Pune.
Sri Lanka team management is awaiting an x-ray report on the injury
to opener Marvan Atapattu before naming the team for the match
against India.
Sri Lanka 'B' in 7-wkt win
Sri Lanka 'B' registered an easy 7-wicket win over the touring
Leicestershire County team in their triangular limited over cricket
tournament at the CCC grounds yesterday.
Leicestershire 107 in 45 overs.( Dominic Williamson 12,Vince Wells 3,
Carl Crowe 15, Indika Gallage 2 for 7, Kapila Silva 3 for 26, Saman
Jayantha 2 for 9.)

Set to make 182 runs for victory, Moratu Vidyalaya made a gallant
effort and made 160 for 5 wickets at close of play in their annual
'big' match which ended in a exciting draw at Panadura yesterday.
Moratu Vidyalaya who were 91 for 3 wickets overnight in reply to Sri
Sumangala's 220, made 202 with the help of a good knock of 87 by O.
Warnapura.
In the second innings, Sri Sumangala made 163 for 6 wickets declared.

St. Anthony's College beat Trinity College by 95 runs to win the 19th
limited over cricket clash played at Katugastota.
With this win, the Antonians 11 up in the series against 7 by Trinity
with one match being abandoned.
Though there were no outstanding performance, it was a keenly fought
out battle. Trinity's main hope Kaushalya Weeraratne was dismissed
quite early for 7 and there was no recovery after that. Antonian
medium pacer Nafeez Nizam bowled well to capture 3 for 18.

their Sara Trophy cricket match played at Maris Stella College
Grounds, Negombo yesterday.
