Thurstan set a victory target of 140 in 17 overs, were 78 for 4 at stumps against St. Sebastian's College and the school cricket match ended in a draw at Moratuwa yesterday.

St. Sebastian's 247 for 8 decl and 96 for 6 decl (R. Mendis 20, P. Perera 26, N. de Silva 2 for 17).

St. Joseph's College scored a comfortable 10 wicket win over Joseph Vaz College in their inter school cricket match played at Wennappuwa yesterday.

For the Joes, it was their fourth successive win in a row.

Joseph Vaz 143 and 92 (T. Anton 34, S. Milan 24, S. Rupasinghe 5 for 11, R. de Silva 2 for 34, A. Wijeratne 2 for 11).

St. Joseph's 226 for 6 decl. (J. Jayasuriya 81, I. Daniels 62, D. Perera 33, D. Ramanayake 31) and 14 for no loss.

Dharmapala and D. S. Senanayake College school cricket match ended in a tame draw played at Pannipitiya yesterday.

Dharmapala 269 for 9 decl. (S. Manaratne 65, S. Jayasinghe 60, S. Dinesh 50, M. Ratnayake 28, C. Perera 18, M. Alwis 3 for 31, M. Maduwantha 2 for 28, R. Sumen 2 for 24).

Spinner Asanka Marapana who captured a match bag of 8 for 84 for Dharmaraja College was the highlight of their inter school cricket match against Mahinda College, Galle which ended in a draw at Peradeniya yesterday.

Mahinda College: 140 and 167 all out in 66.5 overs, 235 mts. (P. Kumara 37, T. Rupasinghe 57, K. Suneth 14, S. Sobitha 18, A. Marapana 3 for 43, P. Seneviratne 3 for 40).

Dharmaraja College: 65 for 4 wickets o/n continued 157 for 9 declared, 65 overs, 254 minutes. (A. Marapana 37, P. Seneviratne 20, C. Kaduruwewa 20, C. Wickremanayake 19. N. Wickremaratne 15 n.o., M. Tharanga 3 for 28, K. Suneth 2 for 21, U. Samaraweera 2 for 11) and 6 for 2 wickets in 3 overs.
