Ian Thomas created a new 2nd XI record by scoring 267 against Somerset Seconds
at North Perrott during Glamorgan`s mammoth second innings total of 480-9.
During the course of his career-best
knock, Thomas broke Alan Lewis Jones` record for the highest individual score
by a Glamorgan batsman in second team cricket, set at Neath 21 years ago.
As the table below shows, the left-hander also became the fifth Glamorgan batsman to record
a double hundred in Championship matches:
