The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the single governing body responsible for cricket from the playground to Test arena in England and Wales. Its Performance Department is responsible for identifying and developing the most talented young cricketers in the country, and the development and implementation of national coach education programmes.
With support from Sport England and the Lottery Sports Fund, the ECB is seeking to appoint a highly-motivated individual.
The position is committed to raising the standards of performance in the women's game as a whole and developing the England players of the future.
The main tasks of the post will be closely aligned to the World Class Plan for Cricket, with scope to make a substantial contribution to the future development of England teams. Candidates selected for interview will be expected to provide evidence of outstanding skills in the areas required in the job description.
Supported by the World Class Performance Programme, the job-holder will be responsible for providing the necessary leadership, guidance, direction and coaching support to women's cricket including the senior team and all support staff.
A Level III coaching award with the ability to achieve Level IV is a requirement and a good understanding and knowledge of women's cricket is essential.
