World Cup lead-up games - KwaZulu-Natal

In an exciting lead up to The Cricket World Cup Tournament, the KwaZulu Natal Dolphins will play four warm up games

In an exciting lead up to The Cricket World Cup Tournament, the KwaZulu Natal Dolphins will play four warm up games. The games will be against India and Bangladesh. India will be using Kingsmead as their base throughout The Cricket World Cup and Bangladesh will be based in Pietermaritzburg.
The games are scheduled as follows:

At R10 per adult and R5 for children the warm up games are very reasonably priced which makes it possible for all sports enthusiasts to support their local heroes and see the international stars in action. Tickets are already on sale and are available at the various venues.
The Dolphins will be visiting The Chatsworth and Gateway Shopping centres on the 25th Jan and 8th Feb respectively. The team will be interacting with the public and signing autographs. There will be family entertainment and loads of prizes to be won.
All CWC security and logistic requirements will be applied for the warm up games. The first and primary objective of the security directive is to ensure a safe and incident free environment / event. To this end spectators will be required to co-operate with security checks at the gates and a number of items are prohibited.
These include:
· Weapons and dangerous items such as pen knives, sharp instruments and traditional weapons
· Fireworks, explosives and any flammable items
· Beverages - alcoholic or non alcoholic
· Sporting equipment
· Banners of a maximum size ( 1.5m X 1m) will be permitted as long as they are not supported by flag poles, sticks or other means of support
· Signs or items with corporate branding other than official sponsors
· Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, skates
· Non-accredited media equipment
· Air horns, trumpets and lasers
· Compressed gas containers and aerosol cans
· Video cameras, flash cameras, Tv's and radios
· Portable braai equipment and cooler boxes
· Deck chairs, umbrellas, gazebos
The stadiums have ensured that all public requirements can be met within the stadium.
