Melbourne Stars 219 for 4 (Lanning 135, McKenna 50) beat Sydney Sixers 42 (Garth 4-3) by 111 runs (DLS method)
Meg Lanning has produced one of the greatest innings in WBBL history, with a vintage century leading Melbourne Stars to a rain-affected 111-run flogging of Sydney Sixers.
In a stunning reminder of why Australia's former captain was for a long time the world's best bat, Lanning hit 135 from 74 balls at North Sydney Oval. Her knock help Stars to the third highest total in the competition's history of 219 for 4, before Sixers were all out for 42 in reply with Kim Garth taking 4 for 3.

New Zealand 248 for 5 (Conway 90, Ravindra 56, Latham 39*, Santner 34*, Greaves 1-35) beat West Indies 247 for 9 (Hope 109*, Smith 4-42, Jamieson 3-44) by five wickets
Another New Zealand-West Indies game, another last-over finish, another heartbreak for West Indies.
For the longest time, the stars seemed to be aligning for West Indies. After Shai Hope's unbeaten 69-ball 109 took them to 247 for 9 in the rain-reduced 34-overs-a-side contest, the visitors would have fancied their chances. And they were in this, particularly when New Zealand found themselves at 194 for 5, needing another 54 runs off 29 balls. But then, as it has so often happened in the white-ball leg of this tour, Mitchell Santner came clutch and took New Zealand to a five-wicket win, giving them an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

India A 138 for 4 (Dubey 53*, Dhir 30, Odedra 1-18) beat Oman 135 for 7 (Wasim 54*, Mirza 32, Suyash 2-12) by six wickets
It was a must-win game for both India A and Oman. Only one of them could fill in the remaining semi-final slot from Group B in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament. After being asked to bat first in Doha on Tuesday, Oman started with 52 runs in the powerplay. But just 83 more in the remaining 14 overs meant India A had to chase only 136, which they did comfortably as Harsh Dubey repaid their faith after being promoted to No. 4.
Dubey finished on a patient 53*, his maiden T20 fifty. He took 44 balls to score those runs, but made up after a slow start. With just eight runs off his first 14 balls, he bashed 45 in his next 30 deliveries. Dubey broke the shackles by pulling Samay Shrivastava in the ninth over for his only six, but it was the sweep shot which he kept using to maximum effect.

Fakhar, Nawaz earn Pakistan first points in tri-series opener

Zimbabwe's collapse from a rollicking 91 for 1 left them with a below-par total

Pakistan 151 for 5 (Fakhar 44, Usman 37*, Evans 2-26) beat Zimbabwe 147 for 8 (Bennett 49, Nawaz 2-22) by five wickets
Zimbabwe lost seven wickets for 37 runs to slip to 147 for 8, when a total greater than 180 had been on the cards. Still, they pushed Pakistan's chase into the final over, their seamers striking three times in the powerplay to slow Pakistan's advance, before also squeezing the hosts in the middle overs.
Pakistan's Nos. 5, 6, and 7, however, dug them out of the hole. Playing his comeback T20I innings, Fakhar Zaman hit 44 off 32, putting on a 61-run partnership with Usman Khan. Usman was then joined by Mohammad Nawaz, who had earlier been the best of Pakistan's bowlers. The required rate had become something of a challenge at this stage, but Nawaz's 20 off 12 balls ensured victory was ultimately comfortable.
