Presentation ceremony

Kumar Sangakkara, the captain of the winning side "I always say we have got match-winners in the side, and when it mattered today, every one of them fired. It was a great start, our bowlers have been through the mill, but all credit to them, they never lost faith, they have always come out with a smile and tried their best. last two months our fielding hasn't been the greatest, but we did well today. A big thank you for the selectors, there is a lot of pressure on them back home, but they kept faith in the guys given the job, so a big thank you."

MS Dhoni, captain of the runners-up side "I don't think the shot selection was great. Thanks to Suresh and Ravindra, we made it a contest, and I think if we hadn't lost Ashish we would have made a better fight of it. There wasn't any dew there. We should have been more careful while batting. Bowlers are coming back to form, so that's the positive from this series."

Kumar Sangakkara is the Man of the Series.

Virat Kohli and Chanaka Welegedara are the highest run-getter and highest wicket-taker in the tournament respectively.

Nuwan Kulasekara, Man of the Match Finally a bowler gets his due. He says: "I am very happy because this is my first man-of-the-Match award outside my country. They had a good batting line-up, we needed wickets early. We came with a plan, and it worked. I enjoyed Sehwag's wicket the most."

Handshakes all around. A well-earned victory for Sri Lanka; India did well after losing five wickets for 60 to make sure this was not a one-sided stroll, but Sri Lanka were the better team on the day: they fielded better, their senior batsmen batted better, there wasn't much dew either, and despite minor stumbles on the way, this was pretty much a cruise. Stay with us for the presentation
