Family Open Day at The Rose Bowl (Sunday 14th April)

The Rose Bowl is holding its annual `Family Open Day' this Sunday (13th April, 2002) at West End, Southampton.

Included in the day's highlights will be: an inter-squad matchnder the new 20Twent Competition rules starting at 11:30am; `meet the players' autograph signing session; West End Carnival Band; cricket-skills competitions; Saints Football Challenge; inflatable and interactive games; Harry Hawk's putting challenge; funny face painting and many more activities including a free 'lucky programme' prize draw that will take place at 3.30pm.

Live football coverage of the FA Semi-Finals will be broadcasted on big screens in a special `SFC supporters area'.

Refreshments will be on offer throughout the day, with the Atrium and Pavilion bars open from 12 noon. Sunday Lunch Carvery will be available for pre-booking only; reservations can be made by telephoning 023 8047 1525.

Home to Hampshire Cricket, the 150-acre Rose Bowl, with its spectacular canopied Pavilion, has become one of the leading sports, leisure and entertainment facilities in the south.

Gates open at 10:30am until 4.30pm and entry is free.
