Hotels for U-19 Cricket World Cup 2006

On the contrary to the statements made during the TV debate on 19.01.06, please be informed that Taj Samudra is the Sri Lankan host hotel for all ICC events. Taj Samudra hotel is unable to host all 16 International teams and officials who are taking part in the U/19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka.
Therefore U/19 Secretariat at SLC confirmed 4 hotels in Colombo for the above tournament. 8 teams were confirmed at Taj Samudra and the balance 8 teams at Galadari hotel. ICC officials and match officials were booked at Trans Asia hotel while the sponsors were housed at Cinnamon Grand.
