Mendis was always at the risk of mistiming these because he sits deep in the crease and does not transfer too much body weight. A fuller baller, stopping in the pitch, and Wasim finally has the batter just as he was starting to look good. 100/4 11.4 to MD Shanaka, Ayub takes the catch. 3.4 to Agha Salman, The fun is over! He tries the exact same shot once again. Pathirana was smart in bowling much fuller, right on the stumps, knowing he would hit out or get out. He, in the end, gets out, but with a huge chunk of the chase done. 60/2 10.3 to Mohammad Nawaz, Malinga looks on from the edge of the field and he'd be proud of him with that one - gives no rooms for the batter to free his arms. Perfect length, short of a yorker, rolled his fingers over the ball. Nawaz misses the ball completely. Good knock for him but not quite enough. 4.1 to Saim Ayub, ...and he makes an immediate impact. The ball is spinning away, almost a long hop towards fifth stump. Ayub's balance was not there as he swung it towards long-on, who falls over but completes a comfortable catch nonetheless. 62/3 4.5 to Usman Khan, A slog sweep to midwicket - except, there's no timing as he swings through the arc. Caught to complete what has suddenly turned into a crucial over for Sri Lanka. 67/4 9.1 to Khawaja Nafay, Mid-off takes an easy catch. Hasaranga pitches it short of a length, on seventh stump, and spins it away to right on top of the wide marker. He swings at it but the ball is too far away for any genuine power to go into the shot. 116/5 9.4 to Shadab Khan, Hasaranga's showing who's king of this pitch. He mimics the KL Rahul celebration, just like Rickelton did a couple of days ago, by pointing aggressively at the ground.
