The Reds have their lower order to thank for getting as close as they did to the Knights target.
McCarthy's Innings of 74 was the highlight for the Reds, and with the number 10 the second top scorer, it was always going to be tough to chase down.
Theo van Woerkom ended up with four wicket, although the Knights were probably wondering if they were ever going to get rid of the Reds stubborn tail.
The Knights pick up four points for the win and move back to the top of the IP50 table. They move four points clear with only four games to go.
Neil Rock has just been named the player of the match for his excellent batting earlier.
