there's the game! Short and Bresnan pulls it away very powerfully infront of square leg for four!
New Zealand vs England, 22nd Match, Group E at Gros Islet, May 10 2010 - Ball by Ball Commentary
The England supporters are cheering in the stands, and there are a fair few Pakistan supporters singing along with them - that's right folks, incredibly, Pakistan are through! One can't help feeling sorry for Dan Vettori's men, but that's the way it is.
Vettori: "There were a number of factors, 150 was competitive but about 10 below par. We did well to fight back but Morgan and Wright's partnership took it away from us. We could have bowled better. We just haven't been able to put enough runs on the board."
On England: "Any side with momentum is going to be hard to beat in this format."
On the World Twenty20: "I think it was a fantastic tournament, and I know everyone in our side has enjoyed playing in it."
Collingwood: "It's crucial that you keep the momentum going and stay in winning ways. There's areas to improve on again, but I'm absolutely delighted in how we've gone. A lot of credit goes to the bowlers."
Tim Bresnan gets the Man of the Match award, for his combined efforts with bat and ball: "I've definitely got two strings to my bow and I do like batting at the end when i can play my shots. As long as you bowl the ball in the right spot it's hard for the batsman."
Well, that'll be all from me tonight. I do hope you've enjoyed Cricinfo's coverage of this game, and join us again for tomorrow's games between India and Sri Lanka, and Australia and West Indies. Andrew Miller's final match bulletin is up, and it's an absolutely riveting read. That's all for now, folks, hope to see you again soon.
So, the match will go to the last over, but unless they can keep it to a maiden New Zealand will be out of the competition

dot ball, Yardy drives solidly back to the bowler
Nathan McCullum will bowl the penultimate over...
although they may be now... Back of a length and Bresnan powers the ball away off the back foot to wide long on to take the target to 4 runs...
well, Morgan's out! The ball was short again and Morgan pulled in the air infront of square. It looked to have beaten the fielder, but Vettori ran across and timed his dive perfectly to pluck the ball out of the air. What can New Zealand do from here? They're not out of this yet...
slower one on off stump, Morgan has a tickle and may have got a thin edge, but the ball falls well short of Hopkins
short again, Morgan splices the pull and the top edge looped up invitingly, but there was no fielder around when it plummeted down, and England need single figures now

full toss, Bresnan flaps the ball one-handed out on the leg side. It was hit in the air, but fell well short of any fielders
dropped on the off side, and Morgan, as usual, finds the gap
short, on the hips, Morgan gets across and sends the ball very fine down to the boundary on the leg side. The ball evades the fielder to reach the boundary, and New Zealand didn't need that!
