Rashid is really close to his family. I remember he told me how difficult the last two days of his stay at home used to be. It was unbearable to see sad faces, especially that of his mother, over those last two days when they knew the time for separation was approaching. So he stopped telling them when he is going back. Just one fine day he would come to breakfast with his bags packed. That eased the pain a little. reduced that preparation for separation. Now he has lost those parents. Hope he has the strength to overcome that loss, and keep bringing joy to cricket fans. On that note, goodbye. See you tomorrow with more IPL

Rashid Khan, the Man of the Match: "I think I don't take pressure on myself that I have to create impact. I keep calm and cool and focused on what I have to do. I look to do the basics right, and enjoy the game. When I bowled the first ball, I knew if I bowl quicker and harder, you could get turn. Then you have to bowl the length, a bit back of a length. The captain always backs me, and he tells me you know better. So he tells me, let me know what you want. Only If things are not going my way do you go to ask the captain what to do. Tough one-and-a-half year. First lost my dad, then my mom three-four months ago. She was my biggest fan. This award goes to them. when I sued to win an award, whole night she used to talk to me. Tough times."

David Warner: "Unfortunately we had Mitch marsh injured, and we were trying to figure out how he we get some overs in. The young Abhishek bowled really well. We worked really hard on our death bowling, and today they were all fantastic. We pride ourselves on our running between the wickets. If we are not getting boundaries, we run hard."

Shreyas Iyer: "I think we were happy with 160 to chase. It was a par score. They knew the pitch better than us. They outplayed us, credit to them. It was really surprising that it played two-paced in the second innings. We thought dew would play a massive role and the ball would come on well, but yeah we can't give excuses at this time. We didn't capitalise on the ground dimension and take doubles. We will make sure we do when we play here next."

"I think Rishabh Pant's game is not perplexing at all. All the criticism that has come his way over the last couple of years for playing his natural game, that doesn't necessarily come off every time, has probably gotten to him, and that is reflected in the way he has changed his approach in this IPL. He's trying to be more conservative in the beginning so that he can be the Unicorn cricketer that can smash at will and also play the subdued role required at times. Whether this will work for him, only time will tell. " Japneet Singh K, I hop you are not right, but I am afraid that might be the case

SRH players knocks fists. They are on the board now. This was a smart professional performance right from the moment they read the pitch right and decided they didn't need to go for 180. They cut out risks and started to place the ball. Williamson provided them the impetus. He was really special, going at nearly 200. With the ball, SRH were back to form, defending successfully. Young Abhishek Sharma gave a good account of himself: bowling four in a row to a pair of left-hand batsmen. Rashid and Bhuvi were excellent, and Natarajan was the surprise package with a string of yorkers. Rishabh Pant batting like other Indian batsmen, starting at a run a ball and then trying to accelerate, has been perplexing
