Barbados: Club cricket rained out

It rained on the cricket parade yesterday.

Persistent showers on Friday and again yesterday ruled out play on the third and final day of the ninth round in the Courts/Suzuki Division 1 competition.

Police, who started the series in the lead, maintained the top spot after they gained first innings lead over Sports & Games YMPC at Beckles Road.

Cable & Wireless BET, who were eyeing a win over Mount Gay Maple at Trents, stayed in second place due to their first innings lead, while Big B Spartan and ICB Empire, who both gained one point for a no-decision, continue to occupy third and forth places, respectively.
