Redbacks name ING & Pura Cup squads to play WA

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has named the teams for the ING Cup and Pura Cup matches against the Western Warriors, both to be played in WA.

The sides see Greg Blewett take up the captaincy, in the absence of Darren Lehmann, who joins the Australian team for the first Orange Test match in Brisbane.

ING Cup The ING Cup match is a day/night game to be played on November 6 at the WACA ground. The SACA has a thirteen-man team travelling to Perth for this game, and will narrow the squad to twelve on the morning of the match.

The team is: Greg Blewett (c), Nathan Adcock, Chris Davies, David Fitzgerald, Damien Fleming, Ryan Harris, Mark Harrity, Mark Higgs, Ben Johnson, Graham Manou, Mick Miller, Paul Rofe and Brad Young.

Pura Cup The Pura Cup match runs from November 8 to 11 at the WACA ground. The SACA has a twelve-man team selected for the four-day match.

The players are: Greg Blewett (c), Chris Davies, John Davison, Shane Deitz, David Fitzgerald, Damien Fleming, Ryan Harris, Mark Higgs, Ben Johnson, Mick Miller, Paul Rofe and Brad Young.
